This 2-hour block will examine the principles of influence and persuasion, how first impressions effect influence and persuasion, and considering personality as it applies to hostage (crisis) negotiations. Examples from the instructor's negotiation experience will serve to illustrate these principles. Question and answer opportunities will be provided throughout the presentation.
