The focus of the presentation is to equip negotiators with clinical information that helps them to identify actual narcissistic behaviors and differentiate those from the egocentric qualities, sometimes brought to the surface in crisis. Although the information is not meant to have negotiators making diagnoses, it is intended to equip them with the ability to identify behavior patterns so that the team can adjust tactics and strategies to those better suited to an individual displaying these behaviors.
