This presentation details a 17-hour standoff with a mentally unstable individual, involving nearly twenty different agencies to resolve the crisis. Many teams across the US rely on some form of assistance when responding to major crisis incidents. These multi-jurisdictional responses can become chaotic if not planned for ahead of time. With proper training and coordination, we can minimize some common pitfalls of the multi-agency response.
