2026 NTOA Hall of Honor Inductee This presentation will address contemporary tactical issues from a police command and supervision perspective. The block will identify key issues and areas where teams and team leadership are challenged today and offer pre-event strategies to identify and reduce risks for both officers and the agency. The issues will be addressed through actual case studies, with emphasis on a February 2026 incident resulting in the murder of two deputies and wounding of two others, in which the presenter was involved. Participants will leave with in-depth knowledge concerning the nature of the problems and processes that increase the probability of positive outcomes.
