International Board of Specialty Certification The International Board of Specialty Certification is a not-for-profit corporation responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining specialty board certification examinations that validate the knowledge and judgment required for safe and competent practice. IBSC specialty certifications are a voluntary credentialing process that include credentials for the Certified Wilderness paramedic (WP-C), Certified Tactical Paramedic (TP-C), Certified Tactical Responder (TR-C), Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C), Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C), and Certified Community Paramedic (CP-C).
