Rodriguez, Krystal
Det. Krystal Rodriguez began her law enforcement career at the Corpus Christi Police Department in 2013, where she has been employed since. She has held various positions throughout her career, including patrol officer, field training officer, hostage negotiator team leader, firearms pistol/rifle instructor, peer support officer, and a detective in the criminal investigations division, where she is currently assigned to the robbery/homicide unit. She has been a member of the hostage negotiations team for eight of those years. Det. Rodriguez graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where she earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She then earned her master's degree in applied criminology from Lamar University.
