Crumpler, Darnell
Officer Crumpler was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to become a Police Officer with the Santa Monica Police Department. He has held assignments with patrol, the Crime Impact Team where he worked undercover operations, and as a field training officer. Officer Crumpler's collateral assignments include crisis negotiator, defensive tactics instructor, and gang investigator. Officer Crumpler has a bachelor's degree in criminology and sociology from Saint Bonaventure University. As a negotiator, Ofc. Crumpler has responded to numerous crisis callouts and has served in a variety of team functions.
