M., Brian

Brian M. began his career in 2000 in the US Navy, joining the ranks of the US Navy SEAL Teams. Completing tours of duty on both the East and West Coast Teams and a tour at the schoolhouse in charge of the Assault Training portion of SEAL Qualification Training, conducting Firearms training and Close Quarter Combat. Trained as an Explosive Lead Breacher, Sniper, Communicator/ JTAC, HRST Master Instructor, ASOT Source Handler, and a K9 Handler. Completing multiple deployments to include Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, and the Philippines supporting GWOT operations. Upon returning to the West Coast, Brian was the lead trainer at the 1st Marine Raider Battalion and oversaw pre-deployment training. He later served as a Reserve Police Officer on an Emergency Response Team. Currently, Brian works for the USMC training Recon Marines in San Diego, CA, and is the owner of COB Change of Behavior LLC, specializing in training and education in the tactical space, concentrating on CQB and Sniper training but has also conducted K9 integration, Breaching, and civilian firearms training. Change of Behavior has access to numerous live fire 270* ranges, long-range more than 1500m with multiple positions and down/ up angle engagements simulating overwatch operations, shoot house and real houses for training. Ranges are also for rent to LE/MIL in San Diego County, 35 minutes from the San Diego airport.
