Throughout his career, Lee has held various positions, including Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, and member of a county-wide Gang Task Force. He is also a founding member of the Hostage Rescue Team (HRT), an advanced unit within MCSO SWAT. In addition to his SWAT responsibilities, Lee has developed and implemented training programs within his agency, including a Ballistic Shield Operator Course and a Patrol CQB (Close Quarters Battle) course, both of which have been certified by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB). Before beginning his law enforcement career, Lee proudly served his country as an infantryman in the United States Army, including a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) I.
