Capt. Aaron Busch has been employed with the Oklahoma City Police Department for 17 years. He has served within the police department in various duties, including operations, investigations, and special operations. He has held assignments as a field training officer, firearms instructor, gang enforcement officer, first-line supervisor, investigator with the Office of Professional Standards, and supervisor for the Crimes Against Children Unit. He was promoted to captain in 2020 and has been a shift and watch commander. In his current assignment, he is privileged to work with several specialized units, including Violent Crime Investigations, the Criminal Intelligence Unit, and the Real Time Information Center. Captain Busch is also the Commander of the Tactical Unit. Captain Busch is a graduate of Mid-America Christian University's Bachelor of Science-Criminal Justice and Ethics program. He also graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice.
