Deputy Chief Greenwood has been with the Hays Police Department Special Situation Response Team since 1999, serving as Operator, Team Leader, and Commander. He holds a bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University and is a Certified Public Manager. He is also a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command. He has been an advocate for NTOA training since 2005, having attended multiple conferences and individual courses. He holds numerous instructor certifications in firearms and response tactics from various organizations, and he is a USMC veteran.
