Detective Joshua "J.B." Burkholder has been a member of the Hays Police Department Special Situation Response team since 2007, serving as Operator, Marksman, and Assistant Team Leader. He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a major in Criminal Justice. He currently investigates homicides and other major crimes for the Hays Police Department. He also serves as the Field Coordinator for the Ellis County Drug Enforcement Unit, as well as the department's less lethal Instructor.
