Sgt. Eric Woods has served with the McHenry County Sheriff's Office since 2006 and has been a member of their multi-jurisdictional SWAT team since 2009. During his SWAT career, he has served as an entry team member, assistant team leader, team leader, and is currently the deputy team commander. While at the Sheriff's Office, he has been assigned to narcotics, the Intelligence-Led Policing Unit, and FTO, and he currently trains in active shooter response and firearms.
